National convening of Central Joint Action Committee: Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes

On 15th March 2026, NT-DNT activists from across India representing the nomadic, denotified and semi nomadic tribes of different states of India, came together for the National Conference . Here, we have put forward statistics, historical facts, legal and administrative necessities and present realities to ask for separate Census of NT-DNTs in 2027. That we have come together in such a large number, at the national level, clearly shows that there exists a clear population of NT-DNT persons who make up almost 10% of India's population, whose ancestors represent the first freedom fighters of India.
